Privacy Policy

Concierge Club respects the privacy of its user (“you”) and we have developed this Privacy Policy to describe our privacy practices.

By using our website, you signify your consent to the terms of our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use this Site or submit any personal information to us. This Privacy Policy also describes certain choices you have on how we use your personal information.

The text below, for simplicity purposes, will refer to all these website domains as “theconciergeclub.com” or “our website”.

Data we may collect and how we use it

There are mainly two types of data we may collect when you use the theconciergeclub.ca website: Anonymous data automatically collected by third-party applications and personal data that is explicitly provided by you when submitting it via a fill-in form.

How we use and disclose Personal Information

The Personal Information we collect may be used by us for the purposes for which it was collected, as provided in this Privacy Policy, or for other purposes that are disclosed to you and to which you consent.

For example, we may use your Personal Information to:

• respond to your inquiries;
• supply you with requested products or services;
• send you informational or promotional communication;
• carry out other purposes that are disclosed to you and to which you consent; and
• carry out any other purpose permitted or required by law.

We may transfer Personal Information to third party service providers that assist us with carrying out these purposes. This includes Authentigate which we use for our payment process.

We reserve the right to transfer Personal Information in the event that we merge with or are acquired by a third party. We also may disclose your Personal Information for any other purpose permitted by law or to which you consent.

Personal information

By “Personal information” we mean any information that identifies you personally, such as your name, email address, country or other personal information.

No personally identifiable information is collected about you unless you explicitly submit that information via a fill-in form on this website to subscribe to a service our website offers.

You have the option to provide it or not. However, some minimal contact information may be needed in order to subscribe to a service provided by a Concierge Club website to communicate with you.

Concierge Club never gives away information about their users. If you choose to provide Personal information about yourself, Concierge Club will use this information only to communicate directly with you. Concierge Club will not sell, rent or otherwise disclose that information to third parties.

Anonymous information

We use analytics tools and other third-party technologies, such as Google Analytics and DoubleClick Cookies, to collect non-personal information in the form of various usage and user metrics when you use our online sites and/or services.

Google Analytics

Concierge Club uses Google Analytics to help analyze how visitors use our site. Google Analytics uses cookies. The anonymous information generated by Google Analytics cookies about your use of this website is transmitted to Google. This information is then processed to compile statistical reports on website activity for theconciergeclub.ca only. We use these reports to evaluate aggregate visitor usage so that we can optimize the content, and its marketing, to better meet your needs.

You may opt out of Google Analytics at any time by visiting the Google Analytics opt-out page [https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout].

Google Analytics Demographics and Interests feature

We are committed to ensuring that our website contains content that is valuable and useful to our visitors. To assist us in this, we have implemented the Google Analytics Demographics and Interests reporting features on our website. These tools allow us to review anonymous data regarding the gender, age and interests of website visitors and adapt our website content to better reflect their needs. Although this information is collected through your Google ad settings, it is not provided to us in a personally identifiable format. This means we cannot identify what information is about you, and we will not try to figure it out.

You may opt out of the DoubleClick cookie by visiting the Google advertising opt-out page [http://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads/].

Third-party tools/Data linking

We will never (and will not allow any third party to) use the statistical analytics tools to track or to collect any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) about users of our site. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. Neither we nor Google will link, or seek to link, an IP address with the identity of a computer user. We will not associate any data gathered from this site with any Personally Identifiable Information from any source.

What is a cookie and why do we use it?

Cookies are text files containing small amounts of information which are downloaded to your device when you visit a website. Cookies are then sent back to the originating website on each subsequent visit, or to another website that recognizes that cookie. Cookies are useful because they allow a website to recognize a user’s device. Cookies do lots of different jobs, like letting you navigate between pages efficiently, remembering your preferences, and generally improve the user experience. They can also help to ensure that advertisements you see online are more relevant to you and your interests.

You may opt out from cookies at any moment. You can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie, giving you the chance to decide whether or not to accept it.

However, some of the website functionalities could require cookies to work properly.

Do Not Track Disclosure

Do Not Track (“DNT”) is a privacy preference that users can set in some web browsers.  DNT is a way for users to inform websites and services that they do not want certain information about their website visits collected over time and across websites or online services.  We are committed to providing you with meaningful choices about the information we collect; however, we do not currently recognize or respond to DNT signals, as the Internet industry works toward defining exactly what DNT will mean, what it means to comply with DNT, and a common approach to responding to DNT signals.

Personal Information may be accessed by persons within our organization who require such access to carry out the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, or such other purposes as permitted or required by law.
